Typhoon Update

This is a report from the Municipal Disaster Coordinating Council of Casiguran. Thanks to Mr. Larry Marco for texting me the details:

Typhoon Paeng update at of 2:00pm today, October 30, 2006: Partially damaged houses: 913; totally damaged houses: 33; affected families: 2,081; affected persons: 10,075; evacuated families: 70; evacuated persons: 350. Estimated cost of damaged/lost livestock and crops: Php 9,726,590.

There’s no electricity here since yesterday night. I’m posting this at AMCO Beach resort. They have generator and internet connection via Smart BRO.
