Akaw Fiddler

Jonathan Urbano from Suklayin is the only living Baler violinist I personally know. He was on vacation last Labor Day weekend and performed at Bistro Baler for more than a week. He was with another great musician, Mar from Manila. They played some of their originals and other great covers. I personally like their version of Sting’s “Fragile”. Jonathan plays a 100 year old violin and is a member of a chamber orchestra.
