Last November 29, 2006 on the occasion of his birthday, ASCOT and Aurora officials pays tribute to Dr. Romeo Cabanilla, President of Aurora State College of Technology. Dr. Cabanilla will be retiring from service and will hand over the torch of ASCOT leadership to the next president which is yet to be determined. He served ASCOT for 5 years since 2002 when the first President Dr. Benny Palma was appointed as the new president of Aklan State university. Dr. Cabanilla hails from Nueva Ecija.
