“Baler” movie unofficial trailer is now online. It’s tagged as unofficial but it was uploaded by the movie director Mark Meily himself. Watch it!
And watch it again! And again. The dumagats shooting arrows at the church clinched it for me. It’s like Lord of the Rings.

yes, i was the one po who posted the “… NOT being on the set…” thing.
what i can say is…
maraming salamat po for NOT making our work that difficult.
well, kids are kids; and fans are fans… but they kept their silence and behaved when told to do so… during takes.
salamat din sa mga tumulong at sumuporta habang kami ay nasa inyong lugar.
we met some locals and bonded with them instantly. we tried to reach joseph (batangbaler) but he may be busy during our stay there.
ang pelikulang BALER ay matatawag na sariling inyo dahil naglalaman ito ng nakaraan ng inyong mahal na inang bayan.
this film is not just about the town of Baler but also a part of Philippine history.
again, maraming salamat sa inyo.

actually Mac was texting/calling me using the number i retired 5 years ago. So he wasn’t able to contact me. I’m sure you’ll be back in Baler.

we, here at baler is waiting for the film shooting of the said movie, pero sad to say la kami nakita na artist or film shoot, siguro patago lang kasi baka dumugin ng tao, hehehe, what i saw is only the truck of the generator in front of bahia.
anyway its just fine, we’ll just see the movie sometimes when we got to manila or cabanatuan.
congrats to the cast and to the director of the movie “baler”. we are proud that a movie like this had been filmed so that the world could see.
its a history, a legacy.. sana kinuha rin si john arcilla who is also from baler as a cast of the movie.
if kinuha, sorry po, pasensiya na, i dont know the cast of the movie.

sana po direct, magkarun din po ng movie about the history of baler, especially the event “tromba marina”, so that the world will know the history of baler.

ay kayu naman bayaan n’yu na laang kung hindi authentic ang mga tau. kung tutuusin ay mga bulakenyo ang karamihin ng sundalo.
