Hard rocking ninja metal band Pentavia from Manila will be the special guest band tonight, the second night of the 3-day music fest at the Quezon Memorial Park. The event is titled Filipino-Español dia dela Amistad: Expulsar el Beredeman Way, produced by Beredeman, the local band coop of Baler and sponsored by Sen. Edgardo J. Angara. This event was staged to showcase the musical talents of the youth of Aurora. Pentavia’s drummer is Boyet de Guzman, from Baler.
The opening night yesterday was a showcase of different bands highlighted by performances by Blue Island, The Bottles, Intensity 7, Tanukaobra, Kwak Kwak and other bands.
You have to give it to the long-time band cooperative Beredeman Production for coming up with a regular barrage of rock events to showcase their local rock star talents. This time, one of the hardest rocking Pinoy ninja metal band Pentavia will be joining the riot, their first time in Baler. I hope they will also include that parke boy who do great original rap compositions.

Medyo huli na ito pero ihabul natin. Ang ating kababayang si Jonathan Urbano at ang kanyang bandang Mirahel (ang banda sa likod ng awiting Dampi sa PCSO commercial) at tumugtog bilang front act ng Spandau Ballet noong August 9 sa Araneta Coliseum. Dapat natin itong salubungin ng masigabong palakpakan dahil simula ng itayo ang Araneta Coliseum ay baka si Jonathan pa lamang ang tiga Baler na nakapag-perform dito. Kung may iba pa ay pakisabi lamang nang mapalakpakan din natin.
Maliban sa pagiging miyembro ng Mirahel (may album sila na mabibili sa inyong suking records store), si Jonathan, na tiga Suklayin, ay kasali rin sa banda ni Aiza Seguerra. Kasama niya ang magkakambal na sila Mike Villegas at Angelo Villegas, dalawang haligi ng musikang Pinoy. Si Aiza nga pala ay may bagong album na pinamagatang Open Arms. Ang album na ito ay kasalukuyang No. 1 sa Singapore.

Wag kaligtaan mamayang gabi ang Pakaskasan Live sa Freedom. Ito ay tugtugan ng mga bandang galing Baler o may mga miyembrong tiga Baler. Ang mga bandang tutugtog ay Pentavia, Akaw First Project, Ina ni Basilio, Blue Island, Mitochondria, Sandlady, Ohm Sapien, Kwak Kwak, Tanukaobra, Inri, Bubblegoo, Mandala, Libris Arcana, Lpstk, Everyday a Struggle at Arkanum.
Maliban sa tugtugan at rakrakan, pagkakataon na rin ito ng mga tiga Aurora sa Maynila na magkita kita at makapag-puntung Baler.
Ang Freedom Bar ay matatagpuan sa 2nd Level, Anonas Commercial Complex, Anonas St. cor. Aurora Blvd. Quezon City.
