May 2009 CPA Licensure Exam Results

The results of the May 2009 CPA Licensure Examination held the other day are out.

Congratulations to Christian John Lomboy Marcelo from Brgy. Quirino, Maria, Aurora for passing the notoriously difficult exam. Christian graduated from Quirino Elementary School, a small school that surprisingly comes out with a descent number of CPA passers. Mr. Joselito Japson, who provided this info and was a CPA topnothcer in 2006 also came from that school.

Gail Darwin Manalo from Ma. Aurora – 2008 Metallurgical Engineering Board Exam Topnotcher

Medyo huli na ito pero bago pa rin.

Congratulations kay Gail Darwin Pranada Manalo mula sa Ma. Aurora sa pagiging No. 1 niya sa nakaraang Metallurgical Engineering Board Exam na ginanap nitong Agosto 2008. Si Darwin ay nagtapos sa university of the Philippines – Diliman. Siya ay produkto ng Mount Carmel High School – Maria Aurora. Isang standing ovation para kay Darwin!

2007 Nursing Board Exam Result

Matapos ang halos tatlong buwan na paghihintay, lumabas na ang resulta ng 2007 Nursing Board Exam. From inquirer.net:

the passing rate for first-time takers, repeaters, and voluntary examinees is 48.18 percent or a total of 31,275 of the 64,909; for those who re-took the exam as per a decision of the Court of Appeals, 73.8 percent or a total of the 248 of the 336; and for those who re-took tests 3 and 5 as per a decision by the United States’ Commission on Graduates of Foreign Nursing Schools (CGFNS), 68.9 percent of some 13,000.
